The eleventh Newcastle Community Green Festival takes place in Leazes Park, Newcastle, on Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May.

Entry is free. There is an outstanding musical line-up both days, featuring among many others Keiretsu, Lovemat, Groovenik and the excellent Baghdaddies. Over 80 music acts will perform on 8 stages.

There are also kids activities including rides, a carnival parade, circus activities and 'baby dancing', plus street theatre, performers, a fireshow by the renowned Dream State Circus, art, alternative therapies, a solar cinema, craft and environmental information stalls, organic cafes, a beer festival with the Wylam, Northumberland and Big Lamp breweries and a lot more.

There will also be an 'election special' - an environmental debate with Parliamentary candidates.
